What should I wear for motorcycle lessons? |
|
If you have ever fallen over on bitumen, you know how much it can hurt. Grazed knees, scraped hands, elbows etc.. and that’s just at 1-2 km per hr. Now imagine the extent of the injuries that could occur at 30-40 km per hr. So for the ultimate protection it’s worth investing in proper motorcycle clothing, particularly if you are a serious biker. We understand that this all costs money. So a good start would be: - Wear a warm sturdy jacket
- Thick trousers preferably jeans (no skirts or shorts)
- Closed shoes must be worn eg: runners
- Full finger gloves
- Approved Motorcycle helmet
We will provide motorcycle helmets, gloves, wet gear and bright reflective vests during your training if you do not have your own. |
